Launched in 2012, Talmundo’s mobile-friendly cloud software modernizes and simplifies countless onboarding activities, while keeping employee experience as the main driver behind its solution.


We’re looking for a new team member to support our COO and CEO in running the daily business with a focus on day-to-day finance, financial reporting, budgeting and budget control. Reporting to the COO, you will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. As second to none numbers cruncher, you’ll be responsible for the entire creditor administration, including payment processing, debt chasing and the preparation of purchase orders.

About the role

As Financial Administrator you are responsible for the day-to-day administrative and financial support to the company. You oversee the budget process, create reports and update and maintain the company’s dashboard. In addition, you’ll prepare payments, handle and process expense reports, and enter, administer and process creditor administration in our systems. On request and by your own initiative, you’ll provide information by answering questions and producing reports.


During your first weeks, you will get to know your colleagues and will learn all about Talmundo and its onboarding solution. You will be trained by your manager, and you’ll be assigned an internal buddy who is there to support you from your first day onwards.


You’ll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the budget process and comparing the company’s actual performance with estimates;
  • Debt chasing, you make sure our customers pay in time;
  • Checking invoices, expense reports, taxes, plus being the main treasurer;
  • Creating and maintaining reports for investors, external auditors and for internal controlling purposes
  • Supporting our external accountant and closely collaborate with them
  • Overviewing and understanding of all the company’s liabilities (statutory & tax obligations, hidden liabilities in the form of contingencies, leases, or insurance summaries, and expectations from loan covenants and/or the board of directors);
  • Organizing, documenting and archiving relevant financial documentation in our system and keep files complete and up to date;
  • Contributing to implementation of changes and/or improvements in (financial) admin processing, procedures or policies.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks.

Who are you

  • You are an enthusiastic, bright and promising young professional with a positive can-do attitude and a strong work ethic;
  • Pragmatic with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities;
  • You have a Bachelor degree or Master Degree or equivalent professional experience (business or accounting highly preferred);
  • You have had first experience in a similar position in a strong numbers-driven business, ideally in a tech or start-up environment;
  • You possess the capability to analyze financial operations and develop recommendations for improvements;
  • You are organized with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize;
  • You possess strong coordinating, time management and project management skills;
  • Proactive and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills;
  • With the ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment;
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with a wide variety of people tactfully and courteously;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English;
  • You have an affinity to tech.
