We're excited that so many companies are trusting Talmundo to upgrade their employee onboarding. In order to ensure that our onboarding platform continues to surpass their expectations, we are hiring a Junior Product Owner to concept and execute our vision for our product.


As a Junior Product Owner, you define, guide and optimize our product requirements. We expect you to improve and concept product features and functionality across our product platform. You come up with creative solutions to product and user experience challenges and liaise with key stakeholders to drive and define development requirements and priorities. 


In this role, you will report to the Head of Product & Engineering. You will be working with the rest of the Product & Engineering team in an agile development environment to continuously improve our product.

About the role

Acting as the ‘linchpin’ between Product & Development and the business, you set product priorities, oversee the actual development of the product and manage user feedback. You make the right compromises to deliver value to both stakeholders and end users in the face of technical, resource, and time constraints. You assist with identifying and prioritizing product and usability improvements, from UX to conversion rate analysis, to enhance performance and test all developments prior to deployment. Your ultimate goal is to drive innovation and actionable insights, and to translate them into innovative product features and functionality across our product platform, ensuring it is tailored to our customers’ needs.


Prior to your start with us, you’ll be assigned an internal buddy who is there to support you and ensure a soft landing. During your first weeks, you will get to know your colleagues and will learn all about Talmundo and our onboarding solution. You will be trained by your manager, team and colleagues.

After the first weeks of your onboarding period, you’ll:


  • Act as primary communicator and link between teams and internal stakeholders, aligning on requirements cross-departmentally;
  • Incorporate feature requests and improvements into our product roadmap;
  • Create product requirements and Lead the prototyping and design of our product across Product, Marketing and Customer Success, testing, analyzing and evaluating its effectiveness.
  • Develop user stories that meet customers’ needs and define acceptance criteria; 
  • Manage and prioritize team backlog based on overall strategy and business objectives;
  • Collaborate with the Development team to understand (technical constraints, scope and implications of planned work), prioritize and execute on the right business requirements and usability improvements;
  • Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing within the team;
  • Work with QA to guard the quality during roll out of new features;
  • Deliver and analyze qualitative end user research (questionnaires, user testings, surveys), translating your learning into product improvements;
  • Refine our agile methodology based on results and customer feedback.

Who are you

  • Deeply tech-savvy, you have passion for both tech and marketing and are truly excited about building great products and experiences;
  • 2+ years managing all stages of the product life cycle in a SaaS environment with knowledge of Scrum and other Agile methodologies or related roles (f.i. Product Manager, Requirements Engineer);
  • Basic knowledge of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application, as well as general programming and architectural patterns;
  • Experienced in working with cross-functional remote teams with little supervision and within deadlines;
  • A strong networker who can communicate on both a technical and commercial level and explain product priorities and impact to different stakeholders;
  • Proven ability to influence and lead stakeholders, and not afraid to say no;
  • An analytical and creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, who is pragmatic and easily adapts to changing priorities;
  • An eye for detail and a strong focus on quality combined with with a passion for products and user experience;
  • Adept at prioritizing needs and juggling the triangle of scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills;
  • Knowledge of functional testing would be an added bonus.
