Launched in 2012, Talmundo’s mobile-friendly cloud software modernizes and simplifies countless onboarding activities, keeping the employee experience as the main driver behind its solution.

We're excited that so many companies are trusting Talmundo to upgrade their employee onboarding, but we need to grow our Product Development Team to ensure that our app continues to surpass their expectations! So we're hiring a QA Engineer to join our fast-growing company and young, international and dynamic team.

Through your extensive knowledge about quality assurance, you will bring new insights to the Development Team in regard to maintaining and improving our quality practices and process, raise quality awareness in the team and the rest of the company, and of course you will help us to further improve the quality of our product by executing manual functional tests and building/implementing automated testing.

Ultimately, you should be able to not just write great test scenarios, but also be able to bring new ideas to the product roadmap, check requirements before they will be built, and communicate well with your teammates to ensure coordinated and cohesive product development.

In this role, you will be part of our Product & Engineering team and report to the Head of Product & Engineering.

About the role

As a QA Engineer, you are the gatekeeper who takes care of the quality of our code base. You ensure deployments are flawless by carefully evaluating and validating every user story (this can be manually and/or automated). Besides validating our features and releases, you also organize alpha/beta test initiatives and possibly usability testing. You also work closely with support to share your extensive knowledge of the product and where necessary you are involved in reproducing issues from our clients.

You will be introduced and coached by both your manager and your colleagues, and you’ll be assigned an internal buddy who is there to support you from your first day onward.


After the first weeks of your onboarding period (yes, we walk the talk), you’ll: 

  • Create and maintain test plans and scenarios for upcoming user-stories, features, and releases;

  • Start and set-up automated testing;

  • Provide follow up and coordinate reported defects, ensuring the on-going quality of the product;

  • Coordinate and manage cross-departmental teams for testing purposes;

  • Update QA process aiming to improve its quality;

  • Work with the rest of the IT team in an agile development environment to continuously improve our product.

Who are you

  • You are passionate about technology;

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in testing;

  • You have a positive can-do attitude, and a strong focus on quality;

  • You are pragmatic and adapt easily to changing priorities;

  • You are an analytical and creative thinker with good problem-solving skills;

  • You always see room for improvement and never settle for anything but perfect;

  • Organized with strong time management skills, you set priorities and get things done;

  • Good communication skills and a professional fluency in English.

(Technical) Skills

  • Write and track test plans and scenarios;

  • Execute manual integration/acceptance tests;

  • Track test results and defects in issue tracking systems (like JIRA);

  • Web browser test automation (with tools like Selenium) – 1+ Years;

  • TMAP and/or ISTQB certification;

  • Experience with validating API requests (with tools like Postman) would be recommended;

  • Build Automation like Jenkins would be a plus.
